IBA Spring Course, 29th March

Hi everyone,

Just a quick reminder for those planning on coming to tomorrow's course that the clocks go FORWARD 1 hour tonight! Don't get caught out and miss 1-hour of this first IBA course of 2009!!

Also, as Sensei Josh mentioned in a previous post, we were attempting to have a 16mm film of a course run by O-Sensei Phil Milner back in the seventies converted onto DVD - this has now been done. We have a small quantity that will be available on the course. It was produced by Hull College of Art and was entitled "Budo".

Many of the training methods used on the course are now of course banned and illegal(!) but were the norm then... some of the "gentle" sparring sessions were pretty brutal... it's certainly a great momento for those who remember (and survived) those days...
