Ninja course.
Memories of the Ninja course at Skipton or was it Skipsea (Memory fails me) late seventies brought to mind the night course with the Black Belts guarding the Warlord sat trembling in his tent atop the mound of Skipsea (that’s the one) castle and the Ninja Kyu grades slowly creeping up the hill to capture him,
Unbeknown to them Keith Penn of Ripon and Josh Johnson of Wakefield had earlier in the day been shopping in the village and purchased Bows and rubber suckered arrows and wrapped rags around the tips, soaked them in petrol and awaited the onslaught.
As the hapless Ninja gained a foothold halfway up they were met by a hail of Flaming arrows akin to a scene from “Lord of the Rings”, they all took to their heels and fled across the fields not to be seen again till next morning. Phil and the Black belts retired to the nearest hostelry for last orders leaving the warlord amidst the smoking ruin of the hill.
Don’t know what the “health and safety executive” and the “boys in blue” would make of our antics these days.[img]https://i.servimg.com/u/f75/12/65/40/08/32007811.jpg[/img

Re: Ninja course.
Josh , you wouldn't have to worry about the elf and safety lot or Mr Plod, it would be the people in white coats and how to get out of the padded cell, Ken

I.B.A. lunatics.
Thanks for that Ken,
I'm sure that I would have plenty of company from the I.B.A. ranks to keep me cheerful in the rubber room.
Regards Josh.
