Yes brings it all back for some of you. I was a few years away from some of these pics but i am glad to be able to post them for you all to see. I like this one looks like some one took the pic from the telly !

With regard to the picture of phil kicking the wood it certainly brought back memories the supporting black belt on the left ran a club in thorgumbald a very quiet man who i believe is now dead. the white belt supporting was a rep for an health company i think called polytabs phil and myself conned him into putting a gi on then we couldnt get him to take it off his name was ted calum and he wore it all week oh happy days

no i new derek well he was a landscape gardener left a lot of money by his auntie i believe and i understand he has passed away,looking at the booklet on the end to end run my son came across the name c mcdonald i always remember him as being very quiet and shy man apart from when me and phil would torment him from coming from a place called thorgumbald if i remember correctly his daughter/s trained with him
